Located in Northeast Texas, along Interstate 30, Mount Pleasant is an easy drive to Dallas-Fort Worth, Shreveport, and Little Rock. The City of Mount Pleasant is a thriving Micropolitan community and is the county seat and largest city in Titus County.

The City is looking for an experienced Director of Development Services to lead the city's development efforts. Primary areas of responsibility include planning, building inspections, and code enforcement, as well as working to establish strong zoning ordinances and implementing the comprehensive plan.

Five years of experience in comprehensive municipal planning, engineering operations plus three years supervising team members is required. Bachelor's degree is required and AICP Certification or PE license is desired. The salary is DOQ.
