Indian River County, Florida is seeking a candidate to fill the position of either Senior Planner or Planner for the Current Development division. This is a professional position which involves the use of planning skills and expertise in both independent and team settings. Responsibilities will focus on development project review, although cross-training and other responsiblities may involve a variety of planning tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Senior Planner: Master's degree in Planning or a closely related field from an accredited university supplemented with two years of professional planning experience; or Bachelor's degree in Planning and a minimum of five years of direct planning experience.

Planner: Master's degree in Planning or closely related field from an accredited university or a Bachelor's degree in Planning, and a minimum of two years of direct planning experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Public Policy, or closely related field from an accredited university and a minimum of three years of direct planning experience.

• Valid Florida driver's license
• AICP Preferred
