We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Planner to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Complete zoning plan reviews for building permits for compliance with land development regulations.
• Perform onsite zoning inspections to ensure compliance with the building permit issued and municipal land development regulations.
• Work as part of a consulting team on amendments to zoning ordinances, special zoning topics and related projects.
• Assist with development review projects, coordinating both internal and external divisions and referral agencies.
• Prepare staff reports for Planning Boards and City Commission meetings for municipal clients.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in planning or related field
• AICP preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in planning and zoning or related field. Consulting experience a plus.
