HGA, a community planning firm based in Red Bank, NJ is seeking a planner with at least one year of progressive experience in GIS analysis. The role is intended to be split between GIS analysis and other community planning work for the firm’s municipal and private clients, which may include: land development review, open space and recreation planning, farmland preservation planning, developing environmental resource inventories, redevelopment planning, and master planning. Typical GIS projects include vacant land assessments and build-out analysis, mapping and analyzing environmental constraints, managing and developing parcel, zoning, and planning and development-related files, and preparing maps for reports and presentations. 

Experience with ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online is required. Experience with Adobe software and graphic design ability is a plus. 

A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Planning or related field is preferred, but not required. AICP and/or PP Credentials are a plus.
