RideNoCo (One-Call/One-Click Center) Responsibilities
- Directs the development and operations of RideNoCo, the NFRMPO's One-Call/One-Click Center including:
- Operations and maintenance of RideNoCo Call Center & Website
- Primary project manager for work tasks related to the implementation of One-Call/One-Click Center
- Oversight of all community outreach and engagement activities
- Actively engage with businesses and community to improve support for transit, paratransit, and commercial transportation service in the region
- Supervisor for Mobility Program staff
- Responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of program data to internal and external stakeholders to identify mobility gaps, possible efficiencies, and partnerships, and report these findings to the NFRMPO's Planning Council.
Mobility Coordination Programming Responsibilities
- Directs facilitation of the Northern Colorado Mobility Committee (comprised of Larimer County and Weld County Mobility Committees) and other regional mobility-related groups
- Directs and oversees Subrecipient Program that supports local agencies
- Builds partnerships, coordinate with, and serves as a liaison to local officials, residents, transportation providers, planners, and community stakeholders to improve access to mobility options across the region.
- Directs and guides the implementation of the Coordinated Public Transit/Human Services Transportation Plan with internal and external partners
Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Responsibilities
- Directs the development of the TDM program in partnership with NFRMPO staff, local governments, employers, and other community stakeholders with the goal of reducing travel by single-occupancy vehicle in the region.
- Provides oversight of all community outreach, engagement, and education activities for TDM program.
- Supports TDM activities in the region
Administrative Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing program budget, oversight of expenses, and maintaining sustainable funding source(s) for the Mobility Program
- Manages contracts related to RideNoCo, mobility coordination, and TDM.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the supervision of 2 to 4 staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the necessary functions of this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the practices and principles of Mobility Management
- Must be goal oriented, persistent and a punctual self-starter
- Regular attendance is required
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including with individuals with disabilities and older adults.
- Ability to work with elected and appointed officials, other agency staff, partner agencies and organizations, and the general public.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to set and complete workload priorities.
- Must be enthusiastic and foster genuine interest in assisting the public of the region with their transportation needs
- Excellent relationship building skills including the ability to work well with all levels of internal staff, organizational boards and the general public
- Strong computer aptitude, with skills in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Knowledge of website and application development technology
- Strong project management skills keeping projects on time and within budget while assuring necessary deliverables.
- Requires use of independent judgement
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, communications, marketing, human services, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in program management or other relevant work experience. Supervisory experience is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in the English language.
- Must have the ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Must be able to listen and to communicate with managers, co-workers, and the general public.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to make rational decisions and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver's license.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The work area is a standard professional office environment with travel to other locations for meetings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
