The Senior Planner is the primary point contact for applications to the Design Review Board, that has a stated goal of promoting Architecture that "encourages new compatible design interpretations that embrace nature, recall the past, interpret our current time, and move us into the future while respecting the design context of the neighborhood surrounding a site." A planner with an appreciation for architecture and design would be a great fit for this role. The Senior Planner will work in conjunction with our Community Development team and other departments on shepherding larger public and private projects through Town Processes in accordance with our Community Development Code. Examples of future large impact projects are the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, design and build of replacement gondola system and gondola stations, and affordable housing neighborhood community improvements.
