TOWN PLANNER

Position Summary

The Town Planner is a highly visible position working closely with town and state officials, developers, and the public. The role involves a variety of administrative, supervisory, and technical work activities pertaining to land use administration and development and the enforcement of the applicable State Statues, Town Ordinances, Local Planning and Zoning Regulations, and State and Inland Wetland Regulations.

$98,000-$110,000 / Year Depending on Qual.

35 Hours/Week — 4-Day Work Week

M-W: 8a-5p; Th: 8a-6p - Vacation: 2 Weeks/Year to Start

Personal: 21 Hours/Year

Holidays: 91 Hrs (≈13 Days)

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in planning or a closely related field with a minimum of six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in regional or municipal land use planning OR a master's degree in planning or a closely related field with a minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in regional or municipal land use planning.
