The Transportation Planner I or II supports the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA)'s mission to plan, prioritize, and fund the transportation system. The position's primary responsibilities include supporting the creation and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) datasets, maps, and graphics. The position also serves as a TPA Advisory Committee liaison and supports the development and implementation of the TPA's Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Work is performed with moderate independence under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Programs.
