Summary of Duties:

The Senior Trade Officer plans, develops and delivers business development strategies to find opportunities and facilitate trade/sales for Canadian companies and to attract investments from foreign companies and investors to facilitate Foreign Direct Investment into Canada. This includes developing strategies, relationships with key clients as required and providing expertise in the associated development of strategic, operational, annual business plans, goals, objectives and policies. Much of this work requires undertaking outcalls with local companies and partners, and occasional travel throughout our five state territory. The successful candidate should be outgoing and confident taking meetings with new contacts and creating strategies to build a network.
