Leads Boise's Planning Division, overseeing zoning, design review, preservation, and comprehensive planning.

Manages staff, guides public engagement, and directs updates to the comprehensive plan and zoning code. Ensures compliance with laws and city goals while representing Boise with regional partners. Oversees ordinances, application processes, budgeting, and community engagement.

Requires a bachelor's in planning or related field, 15 years of planning experience, and 6 in supervision.

Strong knowledge of land use, zoning, public process, and regulatory frameworks essential. Must manage complex projects, communicate clearly, and lead effectively.

Master's, AICP, and nonprofit/board experience preferred. Valid driver's license required.
