JOB DESCRIPTION

The City of Blair is seeking an experienced Community Development Director to lead planning, zoning, permitting, redevelopment, and growth initiatives. Located just 20 miles north of the Omaha metro area, Blair is a growing community of nearly 8,000 residents that offers small-town charm with convenient access to big-city amenities.

As a member of the City's executive leadership team, this position will oversee development services, redevelopment projects, land use planning, and departmental staff while working closely with developers, businesses, residents, and community stakeholders to support responsible growth. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least seven years of relevant experience, and three years of supervisory experience. The salary range is $99,091.20-$116,812.80 annually, plus an excellent benefits package.
