Planner – Full Time (37.5 hours/week). Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) seeks a motivated and detail‑oriented Planner to join our team. Zoning and land use experience highly desirable (at least three years of experience). This position is also responsible for and plays a key role in supporting local and regional planning initiatives, making improvements to local zoning bylaws/ordinances, and community and economic development efforts. Key Responsibilities include: Preparing clear and comprehensive reports; Conducting community engagement activities; and, Managing tasks and projects to meet established deadlines. Minimum Qualifications: Experience working with Massachusetts zoning regulations; bachelor's degree in planning or a directly related field; Experience in report writing and public presentations; and, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of land use and zoning experience; Background in municipal planning, community and economic development; and a master's degree in planning.
