JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose Summary: The Planner supports the City's planning and community development efforts through comprehensive planning, zoning administration, development review, and policy development. The position reviews development proposals, ensures compliance with City codes, works with developers and the public, prepares recommendations for City leaders, and oversees the Planning Commission.

Salary Range: $86,672 - $103,491

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, architecture, or a related field, along with considerable municipal planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
