This functional plan, adopted as an element of the comprehensive plan, sets goals and policies of increasing the use of renewable energy. These include the installation and use of 160 MW of solar electricity by 2050 and increasing the use of renewable energy technologies in all sectors (Goal 3, Policies P3.1 , P3-2).
