Solar Energy

The city's code of ordinances addresses freestanding solar panels as accessory structures. It specifies that freestanding solar panels are considered accessory structures to be located in the rear yard subject to setbacks. It also requires the solar panels obtain a building permit and review for zoning compliance (§2.03.D.1).
