The city's Unified Development Ordinance permits accessory solar energy systems in all districts subject to standards (Sec. 18.390.030.O; Sec. 18.390.050.J; Sec. 18.390.075.Q; Sec. 18.390.080.I). Standards are provided for installations on pitched roofs, flat roofs, the sides of buildings, the ground, and parking lot light poles, and address locations, heights, extensions into setbacks, and appearance (Sec. 18.390.140.K).
