Solar Energy

The Town Code prohibits modifications to setback requirements if the proposed buildings and structures will interfere with the optimum solar access of the adjoining properties (§18.85.030.D.5). In addition, design standards for machinery and equipment require that the negative visual impacts of solar equipment be reduced by integrating it into building design or by otherwise concealing the equipment (§18.82.060.G).
