This functional plan describes the town's existing solar market and includes multiple strategies to further promote solar energy use. The Energy Supply & Renewable Energy section of the plan includes strategies to lead by example, accelerate renewable energy installations on homes and businesses, pursue zero energy districts, and advocate for comprehensive renewable energy policies at the state and regional level.
