Solar energy

The purpose of the Energy Plan is to guide the City toward a sustainable energy future without increasing adverse impacts to the community. The plan includes action items of implementing city PV demonstration projects (Action Item 1.b), encouraging solar heating systems for pools (Action Item 2.h), aggregate purchase of solar equipment and services (Action Item 4.b), and maximizing PV deployment (Action Item 6.a).
