Solar Energy

The city's land development code provides design guidelines for the commercial historic district and notes that solar panels and other accessory structures and appurtenances can impair the visual qualities of historic architecture if improperly installed, requiring solar panels to be situated as far out of public view as possible (Sec. 13.4.B.5).
