Solar Energy

In the Infrastructure and Conservation chapter of the city's General Plan, solar-related goals and policies are included within the Energy Production and Consumption category. Goal INC-14 calls for sufficient renewable sources of energy to meet current and future demand, with associated polities calling for deployment of renewable energy technologies throughout the city (INC 14.1), including active and passive solar energy use (INC 14.2).
