Solar Energy

The county's zoning ordinance lists solar panels as a permitted accessory use in all districts (Table 11.04-1). Building-mounted solar panels are permitted but may not exceed district maximum height requirements (Sec. 11.04.D.12). Solar panels are not permitted on garages or carports (Table 18.07-1).
