The county's land use and development code permits primary-use solar energy systems by right in agricultural and light industrial districts, subject to use-specific standards addressing glare, lot size, setbacks, height, placement for rooftop systems, placement of power lines, noise, parking, proximity to airport, electrical disconnect, compliance with other codes, and decommissioning (Article XIX).
