The borough’s zoning code includes an overlay district to complement the off-street trail that intersects with the town (§450-17.2). The code uses the overlay to permit and encourage flexibility in development by allowing additional uses within the below zoning districts to facilitate trail-oriented and trail-compatible uses. Adjacent properties are required to provide paths to the trail, have district-specific transparency and setback requirements, etc.
