The town’s zoning ordinance establishes a corridor within which are established both a pedestrian-oriented district and automobile-oriented district (Appendix A; Appendix II). The contrast, which is illustrated in the section, is shown between pedestrian district uses that have minimal set-back, with parking in the back, and transparency and the automobile use districts that are fronted with parking lots, etc.
