This plan from Dallas covers two subareas, each with its own dead mall. Each plan is for a mixed-use area that divides each superblock into typical blocks. The plans promote mixed-income housing. The plan expects the addition, over 30 years, of 9,294 new housing units, 847,870 square feet of new retail space, 72,991 square feet of renovated theater space, 45,000 square feet of new theater space, more than 4 million square feet of office space, and more than 1,000 hotel rooms. Infrastructure improvements are also laid out. The spatial plan is accompanied by a financing plan that estimates investments and estimates funding from various sources.
