Grayfields Reuse and Redevelopment

This subarea plan from Montgomery County is for a 430 acre area with a transit station in its center. The plan calls for shorter blocks and greater density near to the station. It also features sustainability and mobility sections. Implementation is separated into three phases. Phases one and two both feature 2 million square feet of non-residential development and 3 thousand residential units. Phase three calls for an additional 3,800 residential units and 1.69 million square feet of non-residential space.
