Grayfields Reuse and Redevelopment

This redevelopment plan from Southfield, MI, breaks the site up into multiple “districts,” each with its own purpose. One district is retail, another is greenspace, and the remainder are various types of mixed-use space. These districts are broken into subsections for the purpose of phased development. Ultimately the plan calls for 450,000 square feet of mixed-use space, 200,000 square feet of retail space, 850 residential units, 125 hotel rooms, 193,100 square feet of office space, and several acres of green space.
