Grayfields Reuse and Redevelopment

The Agoura Hills, CA Municipal Code creates a Commercial Shopping Center-Mixed Use District intended to facilitate planned mixed-use shopping centers designed to reduce vehicle trips. Residential density is set at a maximum 1.75 units per acre. It features a residential development credit system where credits (1 unit = 1 credit) can be transferred to other parcels. Pedestrian paths connecting shopping centers to each other and to surrounding residential neighborhoods are required, as are outdoor seating and bike facilities.
