Report a broken linkage-friendly communities
This report looks at the demand for services in independent, affordable senior housing and considers what impact this demand has on aging-in-place. The authors hypothesized that service-enriched housing or housing that had access to services nearby would have lower turnover but were unable to establish a causal relationship. The report also includes a discussion of which factors contribute to elder independence and provides examples of state-level initiatives that seek to increase access to affordable housing and services.
