Age-Friendly Communities

This guide outlines the methods that public officials from local, county, regional, and state governments can use to create livable communities for older residents. The guide focuses on transportation, housing availability, recreational and social opportunities, and universal design, and uses case studies from partner communities across the country to illustrate each example. The Livability for All Community Report Card evaluates a community's elder-friendliness.
