Age-Friendly Communities

The county’s functional plan is the result of an ongoing survey of 200 older adults in the county. The contexts range from urban to rural, and the surveys are broken out by municipality. Housing figures prominently, with seniors wanting to age in place as long as possible but reporting that residential maintenance and upkeep is at least a minor problem.
