Tree Preservation and the Urban Forest 

The city’s urban forest plan includes a vision and policy recommendations for trees on public property. These policy recommendations address site and tree selection, planting, maintenance, protection during construction, tree removal, conflicts with solar energy systems, and inventorying. The plan also provides information about historical and recent tree inventories and provides planting guidelines.
