Rethinking Off-Street Parking Requirements

This article discusses how planners in southern California view minimum parking requirements. It presents the results of a survey of local planners in southern California. This survey indicated that planners still view the primary parking policy goal to be providing a sufficient supply of off-street parking to satisfy demand; therefore, many oppose removing minimum off-street parking requirements.
