Improving Development Review

This study reviewed existing development review practices, policies, procedures, and resources with a focus on developing recommendations to improve the overall efficiency of the process, streamline procedures where applicable, and increase customer service provided by the City to its customers in the development review function. Another key focus area was the use of technology. The review summarized the positive features and opportunities for improvement in the city's current process, details the use of technology in the city's processes, and offers a number of recommendations for improvement, as well as a plan for implementation.
