Measuring Planning Department Performance

The county uses a performance budgeting process and produces budget documents for each general fund agency, including Land Development Services, Planning and Zoning, and Planning Commission.  Each budget document includes a function chart, department mission, and “agency dashboard” showing a few key datapoints, a writeup on focus and challenges, a description of budgetary adjustments and changes, a performance measurement writeup, and a list of key performance measures with prior year actuals and future estimates.
