Food Systems

This guide from Vancouver, B.C.'s Provincial Health Services Authority was written to help health authorities and community organizations undertake a community food assessment. It defines community food assessments and discusses why they are valuable, and provides guidance on the key elements of the process: environmental scans, asset/gap analysis, community priority setting, recommendations for proposed actions, action plan and outcome measures, and implementation.
