Food Systems

The Cabarrus Board of Commissioners in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, commissioned this food system assessment to provide an initial evaluation of the local food system, highlight assets and challenges within different segments of the food system, and make recommendations for action. The assessment gathered information from local food system stakeholders and offers eight recommendations for building a local food economy.
