Zoning Reform and Code Writing

This report analyzes Prince George’s County, Maryland’s current zoning and subdivision codes and includes an annotated outline for new codes. It includes extensive recommendations organized under four themes: make the regulations more user-friendly and streamlined; modernize, simplify, and consolidate zoning districts and regulations, implement the most recent comprehensive plan, and modernize the regulations and incorporate best practices.
