The city's zoning code includes regulations for antennas, which address the siting and placement of telecommunications facilities in the public rights-of-way (§117-1382). Such placement requires administrative permit approval. Standards address setbacks and placement, allowing installations on utility and light poles that do not exceed 60 feet in height; equipment that exceeds size thresholds may not be located in rights-of-ways abutting residentially zoned property.
