This article discusses the challenges associated with evaluating the value or efficacy of tactical urbanism projects. It highlights how proponents of various tactics have described success and their recommendations for measuring the value or success of a project. Ultimately, the author makes a case for evaluating the collective effects of tactical urbanism, rather than focusing on individual projects.
