Environmentally Sensitive Area

This blog post presents ecologically based municipal land use planning as a method to balance growth and environmental protection. It argues that a segmented and unchanging set of planning approaches have contributed to environmental protection challenges. Ecologically-based municipal land use planning can help address some of these issues by modifying existing uses of planning tools and practices.
