Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The city’s zoning code includes an overlay district to protect environmentally sensitive habitat areas. New projects within the district or within 30 feet of the district need a coastal development permit (§17.20.220). This section discusses requirements for the development permit application, general development standards, and required findings.
