Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The town’s zoning code includes a Land Conservation District that protects wetlands, streams, and floodplains. It uses environmental designations made by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and contains information on location and boundaries, permitted uses, additional standards, and space and bulk standards (§208-69).
