Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The village’s zoning code requires all new development to satisfy natural resource protection standards. These standards address steep slopes, woodlands and forests, lakes and ponds, streams, shore buffers, floodplain, and wetlands. Additionally, they address mitigation standards and requirements (§19.04.0103).
