Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The city’s zoning code identifies resource areas and sensitive habitats along the coast. These include riparian areas, bluff and cliffs, wild strawberry habitats, and archeological resource areas (§18.38.060). It requires reports for proposed projects near resource area and specifies uses and standards by sensitive area type.
