Environmentally Sensitive Areas

The county’s zoning code includes development standards for environmentally sensitive habitats. It requires a biological survey for proposed development, enforces prohibited uses, prevents removal of indigenous vegetation, and limits development activities that may impact breeding and nesting activities (§21.66.020).
