The township’s zoning ordinance addresses agritourism. The code establishes agricultural tourism provisions to maintain and encourage local farming (§4.5). It defines a range of agritourism-related terms and uses, and allows agricultural tourism operations in agricultural, rural residential, business, and industrial districts. General provisions address minimum parcel size, active farmland requirements, emergency access, setbacks, screening, and parking. The code lists agritourism activities that are permitted by right and those that require a special land use permit.
