Creative Placemaking

This subarea plan highlights the importance of creative placemaking in supporting an active Cultural Core in Salt Lake City. It includes recommendations for creative placemaking, including providing opportunities for artists and cultural organizations, encouraging a vibrant urban space, and supporting culturally inclusive programs. Additionally, it includes a section on placemaking implementation that outlines actions that can be taken over the following five years, such as a mural trail, festival street development, and providing family- and child-centered programming.
