Creative Placemaking

The city’s functional plan provides strategies to support arts, culture, and creativity and incorporates creative placemaking strategies to encourage community vibrancy. It includes seven vision elements around arts, culture, and creativity, including integrating arts into daily life, engaging residents in arts activities, and supporting inclusivity and accessibly to the arts. It provides goals and strategies organized by timeline that address challenges like increasing public engagement, expanding support for artists, and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities in the arts. An implementation component identifies top priorities, potential partnerships, and different platforms for community engagement.
